When supplying a disk please ensure the following: |
- All fonts must be converted to curves
or outlines
(don't send font files to us)
- Fonts below 5 points do not print.
- File should be in a CMYK format for 4 colour process
or select 1-6 spot colors
(specify the colors used on the file in the art) Please
make sure if you are printing spot color that all aspects of the
art have been converted from CMYK to a specific Spot colour
- All artwork designed should be created in a Vector
format any bitmap images
linked to the file and included in a folder marked "images"
- All attached images must be either in EPS
or TIFF
formats and must be 300 dpi.
- All files must be "to size".
- Keep all strokes and lines to a minimum of .5 points.
- No screens or colors will print below 15%
- Files not supplied to Effectuality
specifications are subject to additional costs.
- The file must be on the Effectuality

PC or Mac
Corel Draw 9 (save as EPS)
QuarkXPress 4.03 (save as EPS)
Adobe Illustrator 8.0 (save as EPS)
Macromedia Freehand (save as EPS)
Items of note:
- Serif typefaces are not recommended for small font sizes
- The “Compact Disc ” logo is optional
- Graphics must be printed within the allocated printing area
- Up to 6 spot colors can be printed
- Use standard PMS
colours shown in the current Pantone 1000
color selector or CMYK (not both)
Upon receipt of artwork, we will examine the file for errors or
missing components. If a file cannot be opened or errors are found
regarding the way the art has been assembled, we will advise you
as soon as possible so that you can decide whether or not to make
your own corrections.
